Privacy policy

Effective August 10, 2026

Vybra Videos is private by default. We do not sell personal information or use your creations for targeted advertising.

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Vybra Videos collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when you use the Vybra Videos mobile app, website, and related services. Your Vybra sign-in identity may also be used by other Vybra apps; deleting only Vybra Videos does not automatically delete that shared identity.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and profile: your email address or provider identifier, display name, username, profile photo, authentication metadata, and app membership.
  • Creation and community content: prompts, Series settings, reference images, generated videos, thumbnails, project names, publishing choices, reports, blocks, moderation records, and feedback you submit.
  • Cameo content: if you choose to create a Cameo, we collect three face photographs, a short voice recording, your Cameo name, consent and age attestations, liveness-check results, casting requests and decisions, and records of the videos in which your Cameo appears. If you turn on Public in Browse, other users can discover your display name, username, profile photo, and Cameo availability in the Cameo directory. Vybra Videos does not create or store a face embedding, voiceprint, or other biometric template.
  • Transactions: coin balance events, product identifiers, purchase and refund status, and store transaction references. Apple and RevenueCat process payment details; Vybra Videos does not receive your full card number.
  • Device and operations: app version, push token, platform, security events, job identifiers, diagnostics, and limited request metadata needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Support: information you include when requesting help or reporting content.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate you; generate and deliver videos; maintain projects, Series, Cameos, and casting permissions; operate the public Feed and coin purchases; send requested generation notifications; review content before publication; respond to reports and likeness objections; prevent abuse; troubleshoot failures; answer support requests; meet accounting obligations; and improve service reliability.

4. Service providers

We disclose only the information reasonably needed for our providers to perform their services. Current providers include Supabase for authentication; Cloudflare for application hosting, database, queues, and private media storage; Runware for AI generation, Cameo pose checks, and processing the selected Cameo face and voice references during generation; OpenAI for pre-publication review of prompts and titles; RevenueCat and Apple for in-app purchase processing; Expo for app delivery and notifications; and Apple or Google when you choose their sign-in methods. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

5. Storage and retention

  • Pending or unverified uploads are scheduled for deletion after one day.
  • Deleted project media has a seven-day recovery window before permanent removal.
  • Active prompts, projects, Series, reference media, and generated media remain until you delete them or your Vybra Videos account.
  • Cameo face photographs and voice recordings are retained for up to 365 days unless you delete your Cameo or Vybra Videos account sooner. Deleting a Cameo immediately revokes outstanding casting permissions and starts deletion of its stored face and voice files. A deletion receipt is retained so incomplete deletion can be detected and completed.
  • Purchase, fraud-prevention, security, and audit records may be retained as required for accounting, chargebacks, legal obligations, and service protection. We remove or sever the user link when the account is deleted where feasible.
  • Short-lived private-media links and share links expire; share links can also be revoked.

6. Your choices and deletion

You can edit your profile, turn generation notifications off, keep projects private, delete projects or media, choose whether your Cameo is discoverable in Browse, revoke or decline Cameo requests, delete your Cameo, block users, report public content, object to use of your likeness, sign out, and use “Delete Vybra Videos account” in the app. People whose Cameos appear in a project can view that project and can remove it from the public Feed. Account deletion removes or anonymizes Vybra Videos profile data, projects, Series, Cameo media, push tokens, jobs, wallet access, and app membership. It does not delete the shared Supabase identity used by other Vybra apps. Contact support if you need help exercising an applicable access, correction, deletion, or appeal right.

7. Security

Media buckets are private. Upload, playback, and share access use scoped, expiring links. Sensitive provider credentials remain on the server, and wallet mutations are serialized. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please report suspected account misuse promptly.

8. Children

Vybra Videos is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if local law requires parental consent and that consent has not been obtained. Do not upload exploitative or sexual content involving minors under any circumstances.

9. International processing and changes

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their legal safeguards. We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, when appropriate, communicated in the app.
